Trying to do b/w stuff........ I dunno it doesn't seem very.........good to me. But I'm want to do new styles and I felt very inspired by :icondevsash: and her wonderful gallery [link]

Anyway have to start somewhere, and I hope to improve. Comments are very welcome. I would ask for critiques, but I am cowardly.

really nice drawing nice work on the eyes and shoulders in particular.. even the hair is pretty well done.. only real part to criticize is that the jaw doesn't look even on both sides.. but maybe i'm wrong.. the piece as a whole looks Amazing tho

No I have not drawn them yet, this is my first attempt at b/w art. But I think to make it complete like a trilogy I just might.

Well first off thank you for putting it delicately, I often fear I may burst into tears at harsh criticism even when I deserve it. Not that your criticism was harsh at all, it's helpful and appreciated.:p

Anyway, thank you for the comments, and I will keep the jaw thing in mind for the next piece I do. ^_^

You are obviously way, way too hard on yourself. This is fantastic! I don't actually have any knowledge of anime, but just as a drawing this is a great balance between stylised and realistic. And the hair is epic. Goodluck playing with a new style, too.

i didnt want to be harsh, just constructive.. you have a lot of potential, and i'd hate to see any artist scared to use their potential.. just something to keep in mind or an area to practice on while you work on practicing everything else :-)

Once again you've drawn someone I love and, even if you say it's a new style, it's still your special style which belongs only to you and which I love. But you know that already. :giggle:

I think you should draw B/W sometimes just for a change. It looks just as good and qualitative, and 3dimensional as your colored drawings. ;)
