I don't know this character, but I love the way this has been drawn. The eyes really stand out and the shading is great.

That's one sweet rhyme. ;) Thank you for complimenting and faving it. :heart: And I'm so happy for your kindness and attention, I really don't deserve it but I'm very grateful. :heart: :heart:

Sure you deserve it! and more I say!
XD like many people out here. Man sometimes I wonder how it is that we all fell into the neglected corner of DA... *sigh* but indeed you did deserve it for it is well done and well composed!! :D

There are a helluva lot of artists on DA, and many good ones and with equal exposure - or almost equal - it's just alot of attention to have to spread out to several several million people.

Thank you again though, it's really lovely when others are so appreciative. :heart: :heart:
:iconkuriosit-kat:
yeah, that and what people here look for... one can be a great artist and be shunned for not appealing to the general public... sigh... in fact that's how it is in real life too! what with all the famous artist starving to death in their lifetime and yet after death they gain world fame! how ironic ^^;

:hug: you are very very welcome! :D

It's so awful and ironic when it goes that way. You're work is only worth anything when you're dead. It's kind of morbid and sad.

But anyway lets not think on those things, I think one should do art - or any activity for that matter - because it makes them happy. Thinking otherwise will just make us bitter. Lol.

Thank you again dear, it means everything. :heart: :heart:

You know at least they sort of have that... I like to think of that "fame" as a way of "living forever" a near immortality as each painting or piece of work preserve the fraction of your soul that you put into it... well no , I dont' honestly think that because well like you it's morbid and sad to me but heck I TRY to be optimistic hark.
