For my friend who loves Harry Potter; she's been after me for awhile to draw her something - this kind of something and I've beaten around the bush with it. Love the books but the movies have been ho-hum for me.

Anyway I based it on Daniel Radcliffe but it kind of looks different from him, can't put my finger on it. But it's different.

Done in maybe a total of 20 hrs in coloured pencil with a charcoal background (my fingers are sooty :p)

Harry Potter and all things affiliated with him belong to J.K. Rowling.

Very very cool. I love the shadows in the tie, and the face came out great. This guy has a stronger jaw and chin than Radcliffe. I like it. Makes him look like a bit of a tough guy. ^ ^ The eyes complete this very well, too.

Yes it is as you say, his chin is huge now that I really look at it. But I think it's okay since I'm drawing Potter and not Radcliffe, creative licence eh, so long as I get the eyes, hair and scar. ;)

Anyway thanks for the comments, I'm pleased you noticed the tie, it's my favourite part, I never have issues colouring satiny-like clothing. ^_^ :hug:

I like the glasses, it takes serious skill to make round glasses look good!! Good Job with the Charcoal, will you be using it more??

Thank you very much! :heart: Daniel Radcliffe always looks so young, I don't know how old he is now but he still looks 12. :p

Oh it didn't take that much skill just make sure they're roundish, don't have to be exactly circular. ;)

The charcoal I only used for the background and if I use it again, it will only be for that. I find it to be way too "flakey" and unstable, my fingers were all black when I was done, big mess. Lol.

Thank you and thank you! Yeah I've been watching the first five movies as well, just to do some memory refreshing. I can't remember a thing from the 6th book, but I think that's a good thing.

The movie looks really good. :nod:
