Very nicely done! I'd never have guessed it's colored pencils; it looks so smooth I'd assumed it was a digital work. :)

Lol you think he'd make a good bjd? You know I haven't been able to find any blue wigs. Hmmm.

And yes the background, for once, I wanted to actually put some effort and detail into it as opposed to just scribbling something fast. I was going for old stone-like background to make it dark. ^_^

The coloured pencils I use have a high wax content which is really good for blending and creating smoothness when I press down really hard.

Ah thank you so much. :heart: Yes I fancy blue as well, but my friend - who the piece is for - loves blue very much as well so I had to indulge her.
